What to Expect

• There is plenty of charm throughout these neighborhoods with mature, tree-lined streets filled with a mix of longtime residents and young families.  
• Hyde Park has predominantly historic homes made up of cute bungalows, with more of an eclectic vibe. Allandale is a quieter neighborhood where many ranch-style homes sit on larger lots. The Brentwood/Crestview neighborhood is a hipper area with colorful homes and plenty of character.
• One thing is certain, the convenience is hard to beat with these neighborhoods sitting just north of The University of Texas at Austin and Downtown, and with easy access to major highways Mopac, 35 and 2222.
• Access to hikes and walks in Shoal Creek

Activities

• Shoal Creek Trail is Austin’s oldest trail to walk, run or bike and runs along the 11 mile Shoal Creek

• The Commodore Perry Estate is a historic estate that was recently renovated. The sprawling 10 acre venue is home to Lutie’s Garden Restaurant or is the perfect spot for a swanky stay-cation 
• Just south of the neighborhoods, you can check out the Blanton Museum of Art on University of Campus; they have free admission on Thursdays or across the street is the Bullock Texas State History Museum
